Scouting America Troop 4617 is a female youth troop where the scouts learn and grow by participating in a fully scout-led unit. This means the youth have the ability to plan, run and participate in all the events for the year. These events include outdoor day activities, camping trips, summer camp, High Adventure camps along with weekly troop meetings. All troop leaders are fully trained on youth protection as well as other training to assist in their leadership capabilities.
